We usually meet on the 4th Wednesday of each month at 2.30pm in a venue in Bude.
However, our meeting this month will take place on 31st January 2018 (dictated by the tides!), and will be a special trip guided by an expert from the RSPB on the Exe River from Exmouth.
Tickets for the river trip have been booked in advance and there are no more places available.
Please meet at Stratton car park at 10.00 am to arrange your lift/give lifts, or communicate with each other beforehand to arrange.
I will leave from Holsworthy Well Park car park at 10.00. Please let me know in advance if you want a lift – first come, first served. I can take 4.
The Boat leaves at 12.45 pm from Exmouth Quay (see parking details below). We will meet with Dave at Exmouth Quay at 12.15 pm
The Boat trip will last for 3 hours. There are toilet and refreshment facilities on board, and covered shelter. Please dress for cold, wet weather, just in case!
There will be some refreshments available on board (including pasties etc), or please bring a picnic with you.
The aim is to learn about bird habits and habitats, whilst enjoying our beautiful countryside in good company. The meetings will include occasional field trips and there may be some variation to the timings and longer days according to season and specialised trips.
