BUDE U3A WENT TO TIBET!
We were given an amazing talk about Tibet last Thursday the 15th March at the Parkhouse Centre.
Rosemary Lee began with some geographical and historical background of Tibet and then went on to explain the current political situation with China, before moving onto the basics of Tibetan Bhuddism.
The talk was enhanced with pictures of the landscapes and wildlife, and also of the people and their typical foods and accommodation. Rosemary then included some information and pictures of parts of historic Tibet currently not included in the Autonomous Region.
The talk was so informative and held everyone spellbound.
