Cotehele visit

Gardening Group     Wed 7th March 2018

On this mixed weather day with hail, rain, sun and a rainbow, thirteen of us met up in the Cotehele garden barn restaurant to enjoy catching up with friends and delicious lunches. Our fourteenth member came only to explore the garden with her friendly dog.

After lunch we all went off to explore this beautiful varied National Trust garden.

So many mature varied tree silhouettes, colourful Camellia shrubs in bloom, many Daffodils in flower with lots more buds, pretty purple Crocus, lesser Celandines, Snowdrops, Hellebores, Euphorbias and so many other plants promising future attraction including the orchards.

There are so many paths to explore and enjoy including with views of the river Tamar.

We returned to the restaurant for refreshments before it closed at 4.00pm and we set off home.
