Open Monthly Meeting

January 18, 2018 @ 2:30 pm - 5:00 pm

Bude & District U3A holds 10 OPEN MONTHLY MEETINGS a year with a Speaker. These are held at 2.30pm at the Parkhouse Centre, Bude on the 3rd Thursday of every month except October (our Annual General Meeting) and December (our Christmas Festivity).

The OPEN MONTHLY MEETINGS are free and include refreshments.

Visitors are welcome to come along to a meeting to see what we do and to decide whether they would like to join us.

This month’s meeting will be a presentation by Sarah Guy, from the PDSA (People’s Dispensary for Sick Animals)

“PDSA are the UKs leading veterinary charity. Every year, the dedicated teams at our 48 Pet Hospitals work tirelessly to provide 2.7 million veterinary treatments – including 440,000 preventative treatments. This helps over 470,000 much-loved pets who are either sic, injured, or need support, and brings peace of mind to 300,000 owners.

With the aid of photos and videos I will talk about our history and how we started in the East End; our animal award The Dickin Medal’ the services that we offer, our aims to improve animal welfare and how we raise funds to keep the charity going”.
