Open Monthly Meeting

Bude & District U3A holds 10 OPEN MONTHLY MEETINGS a year with a Speaker. These are held at 2.30pm at the Parkhouse Centre, Bude on the 3rd Thursday of every month except October (our Annual General Meeting) and December (our Christmas Festivity).
The OPEN MONTHLY MEETINGS are free and include refreshments.
Visitors are welcome to come along to a meeting to see what we do and to decide whether they would like to join us.

The subject of this month’s meeting will be presented by Jim Bischoff, entitled
ANTIQUES, AUCTIONS AND TREENS
Jim Bischoff will talk about collecting antiques and how auctions work. Anyone who has been to an auction will know how exciting they can be. Jim’s special interest is treen (small domestic articles made of wood) and he will be bringing along some treen items to be handled and for discussion.
Annual membership is currently £18.00
