Open Monthly Meeting – Triathlon and Iron Man Experiences at 60+

Bude & District U3A holds 10 OPEN MONTHLY MEETINGS a year with a Speaker. These are held at 2.30pm at the Parkhouse Centre, Bude on the 3rd Thursday of every month except October (our Annual General Meeting) and December (our Christmas Festivity).

The OPEN MONTHLY MEETINGS are free and include refreshments.

Visitors are welcome to come along to a meeting to see what we do and to decide whether they would like to join us.

Triathlon and Iron Man Experiences at 60+  – Jane Leslie

The road to Triathlon Gold: at the age of 40, Jane competed in her first Masters swimming race.

At 65, she won Gold at the World Age Group Triathlon Championships in Canada.

This is the story of her journey from housewife and mother to world champion athlete.
