Bude u3a Walking Group 2 enjoyed a fabulous five mile walk around Polzeath.
The weather and the scenery were glorious.
Here are some pictures of St Enodoc’s Church which is now surrounded by the St. Enodoc Church Golf Course. The churchyard contains the grave of John Betjeman, the Poet Laureate. Betjeman was a fan of the church and spent summers in Trebetherick with his family. He wrote his famous poem “Seaside Golf” after scoring a birdie on the 13th hole**
