Serendipity 2

Serendipity 2 is a U3A group of 15 members who meet on the last Thursday of each month to experience a range of different things. The actual definition of serendipity is ‘the fact of finding interesting or valuable things by chance’, so although events are planned in advance and not left to chance, we always have an interesting and enjoyable time!

Events have included chocolate making at Sweet P, cheese tasting at a member’s house, a discussion about unusual items, and walking by the sea followed by tea and cake at the Limelight Café at the Castle.

Future events may include playing croquet, listening to jazz on the Castle lawn, a walk to Margaret’s tearoom at Northcott Mouth and a tour round the airfield at the Cornwall at War Museum.
