A very warm welcome to the Bude and District u3a

We are a very active group with a wide range of activities and interests for members to choose from.
Although a key aim of the u3a is to offer opportunities for extended learning, many members also enjoy the bonus of improving their social life and making new friends.
If you wish to join a group, the printed and online Newsletters give a list of  Group Leaders with their contact information. There are some Group Leaders who do not wish to share their contact information in the Newsletters in which case you can contact one of the committee members - whose information is at the end of the Newsletters.
There is also information about our Open Monthly Meetings, which are free to members and the general public.
If you have any queries or questions not answered in this website do get in touch with a Committee member at one of the Open Monthly Meetings or email us.
Members with similar interests meet in small groups during the day at weekly, fortnightly or monthly intervals, either in members’ homes or some other suitable venue.
Groups are relaxed and non-competitive, and can often create new friendships. Requests for new groups are always welcome. If a group is full, another can be formed.
The Third Age Trust, our National body, has an extensive library of multi-media resource material available to any u3a member.
Also, there are Summer Schools and Study Days throughout the country on a variety of subjects from jazz to modern science.
