All About Birds

The aim is to learn about bird habits and habitats, whilst enjoying our beautiful countryside in good company. The meetings will include occasional field trips and there may be some variation to the timings and longer days according to season and specialised trips.
This month’s meeting (22nd November) will be held at the Bude Tourist Information Centre Canal Suite at 12.15 TO 2.30. PLEASE NOTE EARLIER TIME DUE TO ROOM AVAILABILITY.
If there is anything you would like Dave to cover in this meeting, please let us know. For example, I have asked him to show us how to use the iPhone Bird identification App and the reference books (I am a complete novice and need some basic guidance). We may also use the Bird Song or other Bird-related DVD. Let Dave and I know what you would like him to cover and I am sure Dave will do his best. Don’t forget this meeting is only 2.5 hours long so if we don’t get around to covering everything, don’t be disappointed! The price has increased from £8.50 to £10.20 as they are now adding VAT to the room price, so please bring your 50p contribution as Dave will have prepaid for this.
