Bude & District U3A.
In April, in addition to the usual tables with Book Swap, Theatre bookings, New Member enquiries and Group information to interest them before the formal part of the meeting, members and visitors were also offered the chance to buy a wide selection of plants thanks to hours of work by Gardening group members. There was a brisk trade, raising money for their Group projects and Bude U3A’s general funds.
In between the U3A Monthly Meetings at the Parkhouse Centre (which are free and open to all), 40 Groups, all organised by members for members, pursue a huge variety of interests. Coffee mornings, where enquirers can find out more, are held from 10.30 am to midday on the first Friday of the month at The Weir and the third Thursday at The Brendon Arms and the website: www.budeu3a.co.uk is also available.
